How does it all work?
Trial lesson

Before you begin your course, we'll have our first lesson where we'll discuss all things necessary. This lesson is 50 minutes long and costs 12 Euros. We'll have a nice relaxed chat during which I'll find out more about your level of English and what to concentrate on in our future lessons. And if everything goes well and we 'click', we'll then discuss the schedule and the details of our future cooperation.

A trial lesson is a great way to get to know each other a little bit more. You can try out my teaching methods and see if they suit you. You can also tell me about your goals, what you wish to work on, what your expectations from the course are, or what you think might hold you back from progress. 

Individual lessons

All materials are shared in Google Drive. It's very practical as we can both open the same document and write in it at the same time. At the start of the course, you will get access to your own folder where all your lessons will be uploaded. And if you ever need to revise or check anything we already discussed, you will be able to access it anytime. 

Individual lessons are a good option if you want to work on your English a bit more intensively. A part of your preparation happens at home. You’ll be given a task to work on, e.g. watch a video, read an article, do a grammar exercise, or work on vocabulary. In the lesson, we will mostly concentrate on the practical part, which means that we will use the lesson time mainly for interactive activities to further practice the topic or for having interesting discussions on the topic you read about or watched in a video. Everything you learn is practiced through speaking so that you turn your passive knowledge of English into active use. The amount of home preparation and learning in the actual lesson varies based on the language level of each student.

Mini conversations

Mini-conversations are a great option if you want to work primarily on your communicative skills. They are 30 minutes long and you can take them either separately or on top of classic individual lessons. 

After each mini-conversation, I'll give you feedback and tips on how to enhance your vocabulary and sound 'more English.'

All lessons are purchased in packages:

During the mini-conversations, we can either practice further what we discussed in the classic individual lessons, we can choose a new topic for which I'll send you materials beforehand or we can just have a spontaneous conversation over a cup of coffee :) 

Mini conversations are suitable for A1 students and above.

Group lessons

It's an advantage if you already know someone who would like to take group lessons with you. Alternatively, I can find you a study buddy if possible and you can join the lessons together. Students are divided into groups according to their language level. 

It is also possible to have group lessons of 2 or 3 students. There is a 10-lesson package available for groups. If you feel like you need extra speaking practice, you can combine your group lessons with mini-conversations but these are only available individually.

  • lesson plans tailored to your personal goals and needs, 

  • all materials, notes, and feedback from the lessons,

  • recommendations for practice outside the lessons,

  • access to the Fluent English system,

  • communication and individual support outside the lessons,

  • positive approach and supportive environment during the lessons,

  • and a great dose of motivation on each step of your learning journey!
